Exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, well organised **Administrative Assistant** to join a growing, ambitious business in Dagenham, Essex. Friendly working hours (6AM-4PM, Mon-Fri) and excellent pay (Up to £26k, dependent on experience).
Arkay Chilled Foods is a leading supplier of chilled and ambient foods.
**The Administrative Assistant** **Role**:
We require someone with at least 1 years’ experience in an administrative role looking to progress their career.
**Key Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant**:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Provide assistance to associates in ways that optimise procedures and the overall running of the business
- Resolve office-related requests and tasks in a timely, accurate manner
- Co-ordinate with departments to ensure compliance with established procedures
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the building
- Undertake any addition administration activities as required
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- Solid experience in administrative role/s essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- Ability to collaborate with different teams and use own initiative
- Positive, can-do attitude, with drive to be successful
- Must be dependable, trustworthy and responsive to management direction
