London, United Kingdom CCHQ CONSERVATIVE CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS Full time

**Regional Administrator - Southern England**

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be in the heart of the action as we prepare for and enter the next General Election Campaign.

This is a role for someone who is meticulous, discreet, fully conversant with Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets, and who can communicate easily and fluently in writing and in person. Excellent interpersonal skills are a prerequisite.

There is plenty of variety in the role and few days will be the same. It will be a chance to hone the skills you already have and to develop those that will help you progress in your future career.

Although there will be significant office-based work, the successful applicant may be asked to travel to meetings on a regular basis, so a clean driving license would be beneficial. Working with volunteers means that it will often be necessary to work into evenings and some weekends.

The work will involve preparing for and sometimes attending meetings either online or in person. The ability to work flexibly to accommodate changing priorities will be a valued skill.

It will be important to be able to absorb the Party’s rules and documentation and to be a quick learner of our processes.

Line managed by our Voluntary Party Manager this individual will ensure that the Voluntary Party is supported at all levels including but not limited to:

- Including but not limited to sending invites to qualify members, using the Party software to ensure the invite lists are accurate, providing remote administrative support to the Voluntary Party, providing the right documents and templates to ensure the meetings progress. Occasionally attend selection meetings to register attendees and support ballots.

Answering queries from members and activists.
- Becoming a point of contact, known for aiding and resolving issues quickly either by providing documents and guidance or by contacting the appropriate CCHQ team and ensuring queries are answered.
- Working with the VPM and CCHQ training team to deliver training to staff and activists across the voluntary party on VoteSource and other relevant Party technology.

Supporting the work of the field campaign team.
- Speaking with potential activists and advertising campaign sessions.
- Uploading campaign events on to our volunteering platform.
- Coordinate reports and tracking of KPIs as needed.

Communicating clearly and accurately
- With a high standard of written communications, produce copy for regional newsletters and communications, sending via our systems to the right audience.
- Attend meetings and provide minutes and/or action points as relevant.

Managing progress of tasks and information across the South Region
- Ensuring the data is of the highest quality, ensuring it is all captured in VoteSource, our Party database where appropriate.
- Supporting associations with the implementation of Project Aduno and ensuring good financial practice in accordance with their statutory responsibilities.

Providing personal administrative support to both professional and voluntary staff in the Southern Region
