**Supply Planner - Nelson Main Site - Competitive Salary**

**This role is a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave.**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Supply Chain team. You will be responsible for accurate stock management, planning and forecasting, managing optimum stock levels to ensure availability and profit targets are delivered. Working closely with the Senior Buyer in your area, you will analyse range performance, launch new products and deliver long terms improvements in availability and waste.

**What you will do**:

- Proactively driving sales and availability through effective forecasting and inventory planning, raising daily purchase orders with suppliers.
- Accountable for availability and waste in your cateogry area.
- Effective communication and relationship building with operational, IT and sales teams to ensure optimum stock management at every stage of the supply chain.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships ensuring delivery accuracy, on time and in full, with regular supplier service reviews.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining accuracy of all product and supplier data in Wellocks system.
- Implement best practice for optimising product life with suppliers.
- Work with logistics team to plan optimum supplier deliveries and collections across UK and Europe with responsibility for cost management of supplier deliveries.
- Work with Senior Buyer to ensure smooth product launches and event planning e.g. Christmas.
- Responsibility for any daily fluctuations in pricing and ensuring daily data accuracy in the system.

**What you will need**:

- Supply chain experience in hospitality or food retail.
- Analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Owner mentality with demonstrated experience of continuous improvement and implementing process change.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication
- Proactive with the ability to drive own development and the development of the team around you.
