We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner to join our team at NJR Recruitment. As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain of a product category, ensuring accurate stock management planning and forecasting, and delivering profit targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively drive sales and availability through effective forecasting and inventory planning, raising daily purchase orders with suppliers.
- Accountable for availability and waste in your category area.
- Effective communication and relationship building with operational, I.T, and sales teams to ensure optimum stock management at every stage of the supply chain.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships ensuring delivery accuracy, on time and in full, with regular supplier service reviews.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining accuracy of all product and supplier data in the system.
- Implement best practice for optimising product life with suppliers.
- Work with logistics team to plan optimum supplier deliveries and collections across the UK and Europe with responsibility for cost management of supplier deliveries.
- Work with senior buyer to ensure smooth product launches and event planning.
- Supply chain experience in hospitality or food retail.
- Good level of Maths and numeracy skills.
- Analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Owner mentality with demonstrated experience of continuous improvement and implementing process change.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication.
- Proactive with the ability to drive own development and the team around them.
