We are seeking a skilled Supply Planner to join our team in Blackburn. As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain of a product category, ensuring accurate stock management planning and forecasting, and delivering profit targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively drive sales and availability through effective forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Accountable for availability and waste in your category area.
  • Effective communication and relationship building with operational, I.T, and sales teams to ensure optimum stock management at every stage of the supply chain.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships ensuring delivery accuracy, on time and in full, with regular supplier service reviews.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining accuracy of all product and supplier data in the system.
  • Implement best practice for optimising product life with suppliers.
  • Work with logistics team to plan optimum supplier deliveries and collections across UK and Europe with responsibility for cost management of supplier deliveries.
  • Work with senior buyer to ensure smooth product launches and event planning.
Requirements
  • Supply chain experience in hospitality or food retail.
  • Good level of Maths and numeracy skills.
  • Analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Owner mentality with demonstrated experience of continuous improvement and implementing process change.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication.
  • Proactive with the ability to drive own development and the team around them.
