Job Title: Supply Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner to join our team at Wellocks, a leading UK food distributor in the hospitality industry. As a Supply Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from forecasting and inventory planning to supplier management and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective forecasting and inventory planning strategies to ensure accurate stock levels and meet customer demands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and negotiate optimal pricing and terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and IT, to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the supply chain.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date product and supplier data in our Wellocks system.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in inventory management systems a plus.
