About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at the William Jackson Food Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from forecasting and inventory management to supplier relationships and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting and Inventory Planning:
    • Develop and implement effective forecasting and inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze sales data and identify trends to inform inventory decisions.
  • Supplier Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
    • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including operations, IT, and sales teams, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
    • Work closely with the operations team to plan and manage supplier deliveries and collections across the UK and Europe.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or procurement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in inventory management software a plus.
