Your role as a Supply Chain Specialist is to act as the supply expert for internal stakeholders and suppliers for range change and day-to-day operational queries related to a specific category. You will work with International and domestic suppliers to manage their supply chain performance in line with agreed targets.

What's the job?:

- Works within the Group Supply Chain team to create the supply plan for a specific category identifying and shaping operational requirements spanning range conception to launch; from agreeing buying conditions, analysing sales forecasts, providing cost analysis and providing data to support final vendor selections
- Represents the Supply Chain within the Buying Office & Product teams
- Looks for opportunities to continuously improve all aspects of the supply chain for the category to ensure robust availability balanced with strong cost control
- Conducts initial supply chain audits for new prospective vendors to ensure their capability and suitability to supply Kingfisher
- Delivers vendor onboarding ensuring vendors understand their delivery obligations in line with Kingfisher’s Vendor Manual
- Interacts with both domestic and international vendors, as well as international buying teams, to manage vendor performance, highlight and resolve operational issues and ensure high levels of delivery compliance and service
- Contributes to weekly range change project meetings and shares updates and propose contingency plans (where needed) to ensure new ranges launch in line with plan

What you'll bring:

- Intermediate level of E2E Supply Chain
- Intermediate level of Supply Chain Planning & Order Management, Inventory & Flow Management., Vendor Managementand Vendor Onboarding.
- Foundation level of Critical Data & Information Analysis skill & experience
