This role is for an experienced energy auditor, who can translate theoretical opportunities into tangible deliverables to help them achieve their energy and carbon reduction goals.

As an Energy Auditor you will be expected identify, evaluate and support in the delivery of energy and carbon reduction solutions. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about energy, renewables, and carbon reduction.

As a key member of the account you will play a significant role in supporting our customer to achieve their carbon reduction aspirations. You will be key in identifying new energy solutions such as; alternative energy options, the use of renewables, energy conservation, and asset optimisation in the built environment.

This role will report directly into the Senior Energy & Carbon Manager, and you will be expected to identify and run feasibility analysis for multiple energy and carbon reduction initiatives. You will be working as part of a small team, but expected to work effectively on your own and manage your own time.

**Key Accountabilities an Responsibilities**
- Review and distil historical ESOS reports
- Assess opportunities and build a High Level Assessment data base of viable opportunities
- Visually inspects buildings and related systems including mechanical, electrical, and process systems to determine energy consumption in each area or system.
- Determining the energy consumption of each system by inspecting or evaluating construction methods, mechanical systems, electrical wiring or process systems.
- Deliver detailed energy audits to buildings within a diverse and complex estate
- Work with the account estimating team to build business cases for opportunities you have identified
- Be a champion of innovative ideas, technology and practices and bring new ideas to the team
- Work as part of a small team to deliver the AWE Energy strategy.
- Review anomalies as identified by metering data to determine energy wastage across the estates.
- Own and manage the database of initiatives to support the Senior Energy & Carbon Manager and AWE Energy Manager in being able to plan budget cycles.

**Person Specification**:

- Experience of the FM industry, customer operations, business drivers, financials and specialist sources of information.
- Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and customers.
- Experience within both Electrical and Mechanical assets within the built environment
- Understanding technical feasibility of energy-saving measures using engineering knowledge, energy use, construction, maintenance, system operation or process systems.
- Proven competence within the field of Energy Management in complex asset rich environments.
- Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills and attention to details.
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects with mínimal direction.
- **_Minimum Batchelors degree in Building Service/Energy Engineering or demonstrable equivalent experience or qualifications_**:

- Technical expertise in implementing energy solutions.
- Experience building relationships and working with industry stakeholders, such as supply chain partners, utilities and OEMs.
- Proven understanding of software/IT tools used in the energy industry and Cloud enablement.
- Ability to provide authoritative advice on energy management issues.
- Experience of informing businesses about energy management and sustainability good practice.
- IT Literate including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Smartsheets and Visio.
