Project Manager £45,000 - £55,000 Leek
I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a successful organisation based in Leek, the business is currently on a journey to deliver an ambitious programme of change which will contribute to its overall strategy. This role forms a key part ofour IT & Change team and will deliver projects across our change programme including increasing our digital capability, ensuring we have the right IT and infrastructure in place for the future, driving business efficiencies and ensuring we deliver regulatorychange.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects including: Clearly and thoroughly identify the scope of the project(s); Identify and schedule all the work required to fulfil the scope; Identify resourcing needs in line withthe project plan; Day-to-day management of the project; Risk and Issue management; Finance and cost control management; Day-to-day management of testing and release activities; Where appropriate, deliver serviceable outcomes to the business through effectivehandovers.
The Project Manager will have experience dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders; Proven experience of successfully delivering complex and large projects to time, cost, and quality; experience of translating analysis into practical implementation; Facilitationand workshop experience; Experience of delivering complex projects including technical deliveries; Experience of managing test cycles and release management; Experience of different project management approaches e.g. agile and waterfall; Experience of collaboratingwith third party providers to deliver change.
The Project Manger will have a professional qualification in project management (e.g. Prince2, APMP), or equivalent experience; Knowledge of change management, project management and process improvement methodologies and proficient in the use of Microsoft packagesincluding PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MS Project, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Knowledge of and familiarity with Financial Services is desirable.
