**Hours: 22.5 hour per week, preferably over 5 days.**

Glass Futures is a not-for-profit research and technology organisation, carrying out collaborative, cutting edge research in glass manufacturing and sustainability, made possible by a significant private and public sector investment of over £50m+ over the coming years.

**The Role**

An opportunity has become available for a part time experienced Receptionist to join our team, responsible for providing an excellent front of house service for visitors, members, tenants and partners. The role will also support the organisation and planning of events, visits and meetings and various other administrative duties.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Provide Front of House (Reception) duties including welcoming of all visitors and following security protocols
- Maintain the reception area
- Manage and distribute incoming/outgoing post
- Manage stationary and other office supplies
- Manage and prepare rooms for meetings and events
- Support the organisation and planning of events, meetings and visits to Glass Futures
- Maintaining databases and other filing systems
- Various administration tasks to support other departments as and when required

**Person Specification**

We are looking for:

- An experienced Receptionist with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience of organising and supporting events
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- IT Literacy, using Microsoft Office in particular
- Proactive approach
