**Senior Sales & Design Consultant **role at BoConcept Birmingham
Our brand store for the West Midlands is located in Edgbaston village.
We are looking for a **Senior** **Sales & Design Consultant **(team leader)with strong commercial experience in sales & customer service management, ideally gained in high value / luxury retail sales environment - although an successful background outside of retail will be considered. Additionally you _must _have good knowledge and passion for contemporary furniture and home interiors - along with excellent interpersonal skills.
**This role is primarily a commercial role** **and secondly a design / advisory role**. This means that although interior design qualifications are an advantage, the strength of your commercial skills are more important to success.
**Luxury retail is about a low number of high value sales**. This means footfall is unpredictable, some days there are no visitors at all - so **you must be comfortable working alone and developing your client relationships**, preparing quotes, designs and generally managing follow-up processes through E mail, the phone and BoConcept systems.
**This will be the senior operational role in the store** with responsibility for ensuring daily / weekly targets are achieved, housekeeping and guiding an additional team member.
Remuneration is performance-based, with an attractive base salary plus monthly target based bonuses.
Other things we need are a good grasp of MS Office (word / excel), good English language skills (no problem if it's not your first language). You need to be highly proficient in spoken and written English as great communication skills are key to this role.
**A share of weekend working is a requirement** but with a fair rota of weekend days off. In return we offer attractive working hours (Mon - Sat 10:30 - 17:15 and Sun 10:30 - 16:00)
BoConcept operates a global system of training through the store and online across product, technology, sales and interior design.
We are located in the centre of Edgbaston village, a growing lifestyle centre with a wide range of premium interior stores, bars and restaurants, just a couple of minutes walk from the Edgbaston Village tram stop.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
