Canon UK is looking to recruit a Level 3, HR Support Apprentice Administrator to join the Canon UK Human Resources team on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract, based at our Head Office in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

The HR Support Apprentice is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Operations team and Learning and Development.

**Salary** £20,300

**What we ask**:

- Support the administration of HR data, ensuring accuracy of data through timely updates to HR Core & other bespoke HR systems.
- Payroll administration - assist with the preparation of information for payroll in advance of agreed cut-off dates.
- Support an efficient process of employee filing including timely scanning of documents into electronic employee files.
- Act as point of contact for employee queries on absence, contracts, payroll etc. and escalate to the HRBP where necessary.
- Support HRBPs with induction for new employees and with ad-hoc requests (for e.g., projects)
- Learning Management System: Support the learning management system processes including creating and submitting learning object forms to create events and content in the LMS.
- Support the Learning and Development Manager to ensure effective planning for training. Ensuring effective communication with the training provider and the internal ‘customer’ including the ‘advertising’ of available training. Ensure that curriculum and catalogue information for training is maintained and up to date.
- Support the Senior HR Business Partner with ad-hoc requests including support for HR projects.

**You will need**:
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent inter-personal skills
- Numerate and proficient working with large volumes of data.
- Demonstrable experience of planning and prioritising tasks, and working at pace with a sense of purpose and ownership
- Experienced in delivering to tight deadlines, self-driven and motivated.
- Experience of working with in an HR administrative team or able to demonstrate understanding of the impact of the role.
- Excellent IT skills, strong Excel skills.
- Experience of working with performance metrics is desirable.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced customer relationship environment
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to use own initiative and judgement without direct supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Five GCSEs (Including English and mathematics) or equivalent.

**Further Information**:

- Location - Canon UK & Ireland, Stockley Park, Uxbridge - this is a hybrid role with some days a week in the office and some working from home.
