Canon UK is looking to recruit a Level 5 HR Apprentice Advisor to join the Canon UK Human Resources team on a 24-month Fixed Term Contract, based at our Head Office in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

**Salary** £20,300

**What we ask**:
You will:

- Deliver effective case management for certain employee relations matters including absence, performance, and flexible working requests.
- Assist with the management of HR processes such as talent review, pay review and annual performance cycles.
- Conduct exit interviews, analysing trends and providing feedback to the HRBP team.
- Work with the L&D team to develop and facilitate line manager workshops and upskilling.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives.

**You will need**:
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent inter-personal skills
- Numerate and proficient working with large volumes of data.
- Demonstrable experience of planning and prioritising tasks, and working at pace with a sense of purpose and ownership
- experienced in delivering to tight deadlines, self-driven and motivated. Previous experience in guiding and coaching line managers across a range of employee lifecycle activities
- Foundation employment law knowledge
- Experience of working with in an HR administrative team or able to demonstrate understanding of the impact of the role.
- Excellent IT skills, strong Excel skills.
- Experience of working with performance metrics is desirable.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced customer relationship environment
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to use own initiative and judgement without direct supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Three A-Levels (Grades A-C) or equivalent

OR

Minimum of six months work-related experience in a HR role working in a Business Partner or Advisor-type capacity

AND/OR

Can provide evidence they are on a career development path to progress to a HR Business Partner or Adviser-type role during the course of the apprenticeship.

**Further Information**:

- Location - Canon UK & Ireland, Stockley Park, Uxbridge - this is a hybrid role with some days a week in the office and some working from home.
