**Planning Administrator - Temporary on going role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a key role in the Production Office.

The Production Office Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Operations Centre in the delivery of a high quality service, which meets both national and local Key Performance Indicators, through the effective, efficient and timely provision of information and analysis concerning control room resources.

Ensuring this is achieved through the utilisation and development of appropriate software and the provision of training and support in partnership with other divisional managers.

The post holder is accountable to the Production Office Manager for the delivery of the service by providing expert knowledge, skill and leadership in the specialty area of resource administration and co-ordination.

The post holders will be required to work relief shifts planned to cover the office opening times between Monday-Sunday 0700-1900, and 0800-1600 Saturdays and Sundays. The post holder will be required to work bank holidays.

Experience of working with reports and database systems is essential for the role.

**Main duties of the job**

The post holder will ensure that effective two-way communication is establishedwith various departments and managers in relation to resource indicators which will impact on operational cover, e.g. sickness, annual leave, vacancies, training, shifting demand and changes to the workforce profile/plan.

The will act as a focal point for staff to report sickness or urgent absence, record details and advise their managers accordingly. The post holder will prepare reports and presentations, as required/requested, plan and allocate resources to roles, and ensure the planning of relief staff.

The post holder will be required to work regularly without supervision making use of specialist rota management software to develop reports and documents.

**Planning and Organisational Skills**

Plan and organisation of a number of complex activities which require the formulation and adjustment of resource plans

The post holder will be required to work regularly without supervision.

**Salary**: £11.75 per hour
