**About this opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Nottingham team on a permanent basis. This role will be fast paced and varied supporting Investment Managers and Financial Planners in an administrative capacity. You will be required to assist with the day-to-day administration for the team and provide support to senior colleagues dealing with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the team. This role suit someone with previous experience in administration within a Financial Planning firm/IFA.
**Responsibilities Include**:
General administration to include:
- Communicating with Financial Advisers and clients
- Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and amendments
- Monitoring of transfers of assets/cash from other institutions
- ISA subscriptions and transfers
- Processing of payments clients
- Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts.
- Ensuring client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems.
- General record keeping and electronic filing.
- Adhering to Conduct Risk standards
- New Business and Account Administration
- Probate Administration
- Corporate actions
- Client meeting preparation
- Liaising with Providers
- Input and produce client advice review documents.

**Skills/Qualifications**:
- Willing to work to obtain qualifications relevant to the role.
- Previous administration experience is essential - additional training will be provided.
- Financial Planning administration experience is preferable.
- Financial Services experience is preferable.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook preferred.
- Good attention to detail, maintaining accuracy when completing written and numerical based tasks.
- Clear and concise communication skills - oral and written, with ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Takes accountability for own work, with ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.
- Able to prioritise workload and identify when they need support to achieve goals.
- Flexible and reliable team member and willing to support more junior and senior members of the team as required.
- Ability to work on own initiative to achieve required results.
