Job Title: Experienced Paraplanner

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Partner Practice of St. James's Place, seeking an experienced and enthusiastic paraplanner to join our team in Doncaster. Our philosophy is to provide jargon-free advice in a personalized way, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for financial planning and client-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write suitability letters in a compliant and highly personalized way for various products, including pension and investment transfers, drawdown, inheritance tax planning, and high net worth clients.
  • Lead the information gathering process to ensure the correct evidence for transfers is received and documented in a timely manner.
  • Assist advisers with preparation of presentations and documentation for clients, including bespoke reports and cashflows.
  • Engage in technical discussions with advisers and have an active involvement in building client plans.
  • Work closely with the Pearwood and wider SJP teams to develop a seamless client experience.
  • Keep up to date with changing legislation.
  • Provide technical training to other team members and be the person they direct technical queries to.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years SJP paraplanning experience.
  • Diploma qualified with a desire to become Chartered, if not already.
  • A passion for financial planning and helping clients.
  • Self-starter able to manage workload and prioritize cases with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Keep up to date with internal and external changes.
What We Offer:
  • Work from home.
  • £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (full-time) depending on experience plus annual bonus based on % of suitable cases.
