Finance and HR Administrator

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting our client on their search for a Finance and HR Administrator.
**Main responsibilities**
The following is typical of the duties the post holder will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar nature and level may be required from time to time.
**Finance**
1. Responsible for a range of procurement processes including placing orders, goods receipts and liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, deliveries, queries and other issues.
2. Complete monthly reconciliations of all school credit card related expenditure ensuring all records are maintained and in line with policy and audit requirements.
3. Ensuring all up-to-date documentation is held in relation to mileage claims prior to submission to central team for payment
4. Receive, record, reconcile income payments from students, parents/carers through our various payment systems
5. Act as first point of contact for school staff providing financial support, advice, and guidance around all financial activities adhering to the trusts financial procedures and the handbook
6. Provide accurate monthly reports to budget holders ensuring commitments, goods receipts etc are up to date.
**Human Resources**
9. Complete all notifications to payroll and co-ordinate overtime, leave of absence requests, changes to employee records etc by specified deadlines.
10. Develop and maintain office systems, employee records and collect, compile and present data both manually and electronically in order to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records and produce regular reports.
11. Be a point of contact for all employees within the school in relation to payroll queries
12. Liaise with payroll provider and occupational health providers including raising and responding to queries
13. Book staff training and ensure records are kept up-to-date
14. Responsible for the completion of statutory returns in relation to staffing i.e Staff workforce return
**Administration**
15. Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and pupils - both in person and on the telephone, in a courteous, professional, calm and friendly manner.
16. Ensure that all enquiries are dealt with effectively and efficiently i.e. answering queries and taking messages etc.
17. Assist the school to plan events including parents evening, open evenings, etc
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: £21,800.00 per year
