Due to expansion there is an opportunity for a Full time (37.5 hours per week) Admin & Reception assistant to join a team of 15 Doctors, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistant, and helpful non-clinical support staff. This position is based at our Townfield Branch but you may be asked to go to our other two sites, Claughton or Fender branch to cover any sickness or holidays. The position is for a Receptionist / Administrator. We operate Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:30. You will have set shifts including some early and some late shifts which are as follows:
Monday: 10:30 - 18:30

Tuesday: 08:30 - 16:30

Wednesday: 08:30 - 16:30

Thursday: 10:30 - 18:30

Friday: 08:30 - 16:30

We are looking for someone who has good customer service skills, pleasant and helpful. Duties will include:
The admin aspects of the job include but aren’t limited to;
- The scanning and filing of medical documents using the Docman 10 system.
- Read coding medical information.
- Actioning solicitors and insurance reports for patients on a database.
- Care navigation (ensuring people are directed to the most appropriate person/team for their needs.
- Dealing with patient enquiries by phone or face to face.
- Front Desk duties (arriving patients, taking prescription requests etc)

This job description is not exhaustive and may be adjusted periodically after review and consultation. You will also be expected to carry out any reasonable additional duties which may be requested from time-to-time. Previous experience would be an advantage, as this is a busy demanding role.
