**About The Role**
**Responsibilities and Duties of the Job**
- Implement actions to meet and maintain administrative and financial standards.
- Assist the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives for the administrative and financial practice.
- Evaluate standards of administrative and financial competence.
- Manage incoming/outgoing post.
- Transfer staff hours worked onto the weekly hours sheet ready for payroll.
- Complete residents details form with information passed from the home manager.
- Deal with Admission details.
- Send Admission/Discharge form to Head Office.
- Update the homes occupancy list.
- Deal with invoices.
- Deal with incoming and outgoing calls, taking messages at medication rounds unless a GP, Hospitals, important calls which need to be dealt with ASAP.
- Ensure all receipts are attached and sent to Head Office accordingly for Credit care summary.
- Make sure receipts are issued and a copy attached to the Banking Sheet, with visits to the bank in work time.
- Deal with Petty cash, residents personal allowance.
- Process pre recruitment checks for new starters.
- Record sickness/absence.
- Keep personal files up to date.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
- Maintain administrative and financial skills at a current level and undertake such training and development from time-to-time as it may be required to maintain that currency of practice.
- Provide administrative and financial services for We Care Group in accordance with current best practice.
- Supervise the administrative and financial services within We Care Group in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, in line with accepted best practice and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time.
- Develop effective working relationships with other We Care Group employees.
- Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.
- Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation, and induction of all new employees.
- Support the effective resolution of team conflicts.
- Promote a positive image for the people and employees of We Care Group.
