This is a rewarding opportunity to join North Wales Police in the role of Intelligence Processing Assistant.

**What does the Intelligence Processing Assistant Role entail?**

You will be supporting North Wales Police (NWP) receiving and processing intelligence inputs from a number of internal and external sources. You will also provide intelligence outputs to the various Force and national databases ensuring the highest accuracy and integrity of data.

Other duties will include, but not be limited to taking a leading role in the following;
- To disseminate information gathered from appropriate sources.
- To evaluate, sanitise, link and input intelligence submissions onto relevant systems.
- To advise system administrators of any duplicate or incorrect entries on the systems.
- To advise on best practice when intelligence submissions fall below the required standards.
- To highlight potential intelligence of note from various intelligence sources.
- Liaise with and advise police and outside agencies in an operational/investigative context with the aim of detecting crime.

**What will I need to be considered for the Intelligence Processing Assistant role?**
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent relevant qualifications and experience.
- Relevant experience in the searching reviewing and analysing of information from various sources including IT, open source and review of paper documents.
- To have a good understanding of available sources of information relevant to the development of intelligence.
- Excellent organisational skills, together with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Possess good written and oral communication skills.
- Possess a knowledge of the National Intelligence Model and a desire to implement its principles.
- Possess a good knowledge of the use of various IT systems. including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
