**Community Liaison Officer**

Lightning Fibre (LF) is the leading local alternative network for Full Fibre broadband in East Sussex, operating from our new head office in Eastbourne.

LF is an independent community-orientated network operator, our mission is to significantly upgrade the broadband infrastructure in our region with a multi-Gigabit service acting as a vital enabler to grow our local digital economy and creating local jobs in the process.

**The role primary purpose**:
The CLO’s workload would be directly generated by the Complaints ticketing system. The CLO will primarily work in the field directly resolving complaints with residents.

The CLO will also conduct community outreach building positive relationships with Ward Councillors, residents’ associations, etc, and be the central point of contact and the face of our brand.

**Key task and responsibilities**:

- The CLO’s primary role will be to respond to Customer Support complaints within 72 hours, document the outcome, then follow up the complaint if required.
- The CLO will be required to resolve basic complaints ‘on the spot’ where possible.
- The CLO will be responsible for offering pre-approved compensation in certain circumstances.
- The CLO will be required to carry out minor clean-up operations - IE remove gravel from verges, clean up litter, graffiti etc,
- The CLO will be required to cover all our build areas.

**Requirements**:

- Clean Driving License
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Computer Literate as will be using OS Tickets, Google maps and other software packages.
- Self-starter, as will be working independently in the field.
- Strong organisational skills as will be managing their own workload and must be able to prioritise.
- Polite, empathetic, and brand aware
- Calm, respectful and patient manner
- EASTBOURNE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work

**Desirable**:

- NRSWA ticket
