Business Development Executive

Up to £30k per annum + OTE £40k per annum

Location - Northampton

Hours fo work: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 5pm (35 hours per week) + excellent holiday entitlements

**Job Purpose**

The Business Development Executive is responsible for all new business and account management activities within the accountancy firm. Talking to existing clients about their service package, introducing service packages to SME businesses in Northamptonshirein line with the business plan and annual budgets.

This role works directly with the managing director and will be sole new business developer in the business working with existing accounts, leads generated by marketing efforts and other prospect data.

**Key Measures of Success in the role**

The BDE will be measured on 6 key performance criteria
- New business pipeline
- Converting existing clients on to advanced accounting packages
- The rate of conversion from prospect to secured
- To maximise cross selling opportunities to new clients in line with the company plan.
- Effectively recording, managing, and reporting in line with management requirements.
- Attending quarterly events hosted by the business with new prospects and existing clients

**Main areas of Responsibility**
- Make outbound calls to SME’s within Northampton (40 miles radius) to generate interest in company services and book appointments for client presentations
- Deliver the required number of leads from prospect to sign up against targets, in line with the company plan.
- All presentations to be qualified in line with criteria set out by the Managing Director
- All presentations to be set up within the CRM system and a proper hand over in line with company requirements
- Generate area specific initiatives to build a pipeline for new business enquiries;
- Ensure accurate record management to enable reporting for Managing Director to be carried out in an accurate and timely fashion.
