Due to company growth, a unique opportunity has arisen to join us as our first ever Digital Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist will use their skills and expertise to lead on all social media and digital marketing initiatives. The Digital Marketing Specialist, with support from colleagues in the marketing department, will have autonomy in their role and the freedom to lead their own projects - in line with the over-arching strategy and associated KPIs.

This role will particularly suit a keen and passionate digital marketer who has twelve months experience in a b2b digital marketing role.**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- To lead on all social media and digital marketing initiatives.
- Elevate the presence of Canford in the digital space - setting us apart from our competitors and leading the way for the industry to follow.
- With assistance from the Marketing Manager, maintain an internal digital communication system using SharePoint, Teams, etc
- Monitor and report on competitor and industry activity to identify new trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Liaise with key customers and clients to generate interesting, mutually beneficial content.**Other Responsibilities**
- Assist with the planning and execution of all exhibitions and events. This may involve one or more overnight stays (UK and International).
- Assist with copywriting and production of all company publications and literature.
- Contributing to the marketing strategy.
- Deputise for the Marketing Manager when necessary.**Qualifications / Experience Required**
- Essential_
- Thorough understanding of social media platforms (paid and organic) particularly YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Familiarity with Microsoft software packages including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote.
- Highly organised with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience in a b2b digital marketing role would be highly advantageous.- Preferred - As well as the above, we’d love it if you had the following:_
- A working knowledge of SEO would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of photography and videography including lighting, audio, and DSLR cameras.
- Previous experience with MailChimp.
- Basic ability with Photoshop, Premiere Pro / Sony VEGAS.
- A formal digital marketing qualification is preferred, but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,500.00-£27,500.00 per year
