£27,624 to £29,806 per annum plus 40 days leave including bank holidays and discretionary days.

**What's the job?**:
Working within our professionally recognised Advice Centre:

- You'll efficiently and effectively manage casework
- Act as a representative and advocate for students at meetings/hearings/tribunals within the university and externally. Cases can relate to a wide range of issues such as discrimination, academic misconduct or sexual violence.
- You'll assist the Advice Centre Managers in all aspects of running the Advice Centre, ensuring high standards of competence and consistency at all times.

**What are we looking for?**:

- With experience of advice work, providing casework support or tribunal representation.
- You will have the ability to locate and understand information resources and legislation and explain them to clients.
- You’ll present a flexible, client-orientated approach to work and have significant experience of providing confidential, impartial, non-judgmental advice.
- Someone who can build relationships and work successfully with people at all levels. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will display an empathic and approachable manner to clients.
