The Advice and Response Service offers comprehensive, trauma-informed assistance to students who have faced any form of gender-based violence, harassment, or discrimination. Our dedicated team consists of specialized caseworkers who deliver confidential, practical, and emotional support tailored to the needs of students. We are looking to appoint a subject matter expert to oversee the management of Advice and Response casework in this critical and sensitive field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Advice and Response team, ensuring the effective management and response to incidents related to safeguarding, gender-based violence, and discrimination, along with delivering specialized support and guidance for both students and staff.
  • As a leader within Professional Services (PS), foster a culture of exceptional service delivery and ongoing enhancement, prioritizing the student experience in all initiatives, while supporting a cohesive PS team that operates flexibly across departmental boundaries.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Campus Life, Head of Advice and Response, and other senior stakeholders to cultivate and sustain productive partnerships with colleagues, students, and relevant external parties, aimed at achieving the University's strategic goals concerning the provision of a high-quality Advice and Response Service and enhancing the overall student experience.
