What you'll do
- Work with the Principal Engineer to drive the technical direction and the improvement of tools and processes across teams
- Champion testing, code quality, accessibility, and standard methodologies as well as mentoring individuals
- Facilitate and support with the technical analysis, solution design and integration-based phases of delivery
- Coach and mentor Senior Developers and Developers, helping them to thrive in their career
- Play a proactive role with regards to the setup and ongoing maintenance of effective monitoring and alerting across the app
- Drive continuous improvement within a self-regulating team
- Assist in crafting high quality software using Agile methodologies
- Work with colleagues from other platforms such as iOS and Android

What you'll bring
- Solid experience with React Native and TypeScript
- Technical leadership / mentoring experience
- Superb communication skills with the ability to provide written & verbal updates tailored to your audience
- A passion for driving the quality, performance and resilience of the app technology
- Depth in knowledge of software engineering standard methodology and non
- functional requirements
- Experience with producing ADRs, evaluating technologies and a strive to push the team with regards to technical documentation and sharing knowledge.
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
- Knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies and standard processes (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc)
