40 hours per week / over 5 days (including weekends)

Weetwood Hall is a beautiful Four-star hotel in Leeds, set within nine acres of stunning woodlands and gardens and built around a 17th Century Jacobean Manor House. Providing the very best in contemporary and unique guest experiences, our hotel is steeped in rich history with parts of our beautiful property dating back as far as 1540. Guests can indulge in the tranquil surroundings of our grand estate and escape everyday life with us. The hotel features 114 rooms, 20 conference and seminar rooms, a locally sourced modern British menu from its Convive restaurant and is also a beautiful wedding venue. Weetwood Hall is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Leeds and managed by 7 Hospitality Management.

**What will I be doing?**

As a Wedding & Events Co-ordinator for Weetwood Hall Estate, we are looking for a positive can do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. Your duties will involve but will not be limited to:

- Effectively coordinate the overall wedding and events process from an enquiry through to the date of the event. To be present on the day of the wedding to meet the couple prior to the ceremony.
- To maximise the conversions of wedding and special event enquiries including taking payments, sending contracts and conducting final detail appointments;
- Assisting in producing, collating, and distributing function sheets on a weekly basis and ensuring that information is accurate and detailed.
- Liaise with operations team to ensure correct set-up of function to meet clients’ needs.
- Build positive relations with couples and attend to all requests expediently and courteously.
- Up-sell and promote hotel’s facilities and services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue.
- Ensure contracts, quotes and correspondence are correct.
- Ability to understand guests needs, conduct show arounds and promote all the services we have to offer.
- Organise and hosts in house wedding fayres and wedding showcases with multiple suppliers and promote to couples.
- Complete post event courtesy calls for each client to obtain feedback and rebook.

**What are we looking for?**

A Wedding & Events Co-ordinator serving 7 Hospitality Management managed hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests, Owners and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you must possess the attitudes, behaviours, skills and values that follow;
- Be able to provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories;
- Demonstrate genuine dedication and show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services.
- Have ideally worked in a similar role within a hotel environment, however this is not a prerequisite.
- Be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer care skills and ability to work under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT literacy. Experience working with Opera Cloud is preferred but not essential.
- A high standard of personal presentation with confident, professional and welcoming personality.
