Our client is an international logistics firm who currently are recruiting for a brand-new role to provide sales support to our Branch Manager to grow the freight forwarding side of the business.

In this role, you will work closely with the Branch Manager contacting potential and new business through sales leads, existing customer data base and lapsed business. Build a strong relationship with the customers and use this as an opportunity to upselladditional services.

Previous industry/sales experience advantageous but not essential as full training and support will be provided.

**Duties and responsibilities for the Sales support Administrator**:

- Providing quotes to customers and ensure these are followed up
- Requesting quotes from local/overseas agents, air lines and shipping lines
- Ensuring all quotes and follow ups are recorded within the system
- Passing all bookings to freight forwarding team including any specific instructions
- Maintaining all systems/databases to ensure all information is accurate
- Provide sales support to the Branch Manager when needed
- Help identify new clients and support re-building relationships with lapsed clients
- Support in creating company presentations for customer meetings

**Skills and experience required for theSales support Administrator**:

- Experience in a varied administration role with customer interaction
- Be proactive and passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Be able to deal with customer's problems efficiently and professionally
- Be able to work to meet strict deadlines and prioritise your workload
- Be computer literate and able to learn new systems efficiently
- Strong administration skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Be able to work under pressure in a busy environment
