Smart Choice Metering are committed to the UK Government’s Smart Metering Implementation Programme (SMIP), an energy-industry led initiative to roll-out approximately 53 million smart meters to domestic properties and non-domestic sites in Great Britain.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an office administrator based in our offices in **Stretford, Manchester, conveniently located adjacent to Pomona Metrolink Tram station**.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and quick learner to join the dynamic team at Smart Choice Metering for a long-term career with us

**Main Responsibilities (but are not limited to)**:

- Provide various administrative support across the operations teams, including vehicle maintenance tracking, engineer qualifications/health & safety and procurement.
- Working on our main reception desk and meet & greet our visitors at SCM with professionalism and communicate effectively with the relevant departments
- Carry out mail merge exercises and prepare engineer welcome packs
- Schedule meeting rooms using the meeting room system/book hotels
- Management and replenishment of the onsite vending machines
- Carry out regular stock takes
- Assist the teams at BES and provide support as required
- Sort & distribute post
- Order and distribute stationary
- Assist on the dialler system to external customers

Although your experience will give you the ability to make the job your own, you will be supported by highly experience department leaders who will make your success a priority.

**Requirement to be considered**
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s (Grades 4 - 9) including Maths and English being essential
- Good office equipment experience (telephone/PC/printer)
- Comfortable with Excel, ideally interested in developing skills in this area.
- Comfortable picking up the phone to interact with engineers and suppliers.
- Well organised
