**Job description**:
As an External Customer Insight Officer, you will support the delivery of DVSA’s ongoing programme of customer insight for all our services and products.

You will play a key part in delivering our insight programme, designing and conducting research to measure customer satisfaction with the services that DVSA provides, as well as a variety of related topics. You will then present your findings to interested stakeholders from across the agency.

You will be joining a great team where you will be fully supported and offered a variety of learning and development opportunities to further your customer insight skills and career.

There will be a requirement for some travel to other DVSA sites around the UK which could include overnight stays. If not based in Nottingham or Bristol monthly travel may be required to attend team meetings.

**Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to**:

- Taking responsibility for qualitative and quantitative customer research to support the Senior External Customer Insight Manager.
- Providing advice and recommendations to stakeholders, using your acquired specialist knowledge, to agree the best methods to conduct their research requests in the most effective way
- Using software to effectively analyse and present both quantitative data and qualitative insight.
- Designing and maintaining end to end customer journey maps across all DVSA products and services to inform improvements and changes.
- Managing self and tasks, prioritising work, and providing regular performance and project updates to line manager.
- Managing, designing and reporting on own projects within the DVSA insight programme to support DVSA’s services and products.
- Assisting managers with the procurement, selection and management of third-party customer research agencies.
