Job Summary The post holder will support the Engagement Manager and the wider engagement team to coordinate the delivery of insight and experience gathering from people and communities on behalf of the ICB and the ICS. This includes: Supporting the coordination and delivery of a new Citizen Intelligence approach to gathering insights and experiences from people and communities, particularly those who dont naturally engage. Supporting the coordination and delivery of specific programmes of engagement work aligned to ICB and ICS priorities Working closely with the patient and public involvement leads at Place and Neighbourhood level across health, Local Authorities and the Voluntary and Community sector to provide an integrated and co-ordinated approach to gathering citizen intelligence. Supporting the work of engagement structures across the ICB and ICS.

Skills Able to work collaboratively with volunteers and patient and community Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, enabling the management of difficult conversations to achieve a desired outcome. Able to identify opportunities to work with communities most affected by health inequalities. Able to develop surveys using bespoke software, e.g. Snap Survey, Microsoft Forms etc.

Able facilitate focus groups and interviews, Excellent writing skills to produce reports, presenting complex information in ways that are easy to understand and tailored to the interests and needs of the audience. Skilled at collating, analysing and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data. Maintain databases and other information Responsibilities To support the coordination and delivery of specific programmes of engagement work aligned to ICB and ICS To support the coordination and delivery of the new Citizen Intelligence approach to gathering insights and experiences from people and communities. To work closely with colleagues across health, Local Authorities and the Voluntary and Community sector to support the alignment of engagement activity across the health and care system.

To proactively build relationships with, and seek participation from, communities who experience the greatest health inequalities and poorest health outcomes, employing a wide range of techniques to engage and involve To ensure effective stakeholder management, including maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and attendance at stakeholder/partner To support the production of reports and briefings. To attend relevant engagement forums and networks and meetings. To utilise a range of systems and processes to support the coordination and delivery of citizen intelligence activity. To deputise for the Engagement Manager, as appropriate To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibility and scale of the post
