LOCALiQ is a digital media and advertising agency within the Newsquest media group. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our sales team in a hybrid capacity in Newport. As an Events Sponsorship Account Manager, you will be an integral part of the Sales team, representing the LOCALiQ events portfolio in are South East Wales region. Your primary focus will be on business-to-business (B2B) sales, conducting outreach via telephone, video, and territory management to existing and prospective sponsorship clients. Your role involves booking appointments for sponsorship solutions tailored to the customer's needs through effective questioning, information gathering, and research into the customer's business or vertical.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Conduct B2B sales via telephone, video, and territory management to secure sponsorship appointments.

Maximize events sponsorship spend from a specific category and/or territory, cultivating relationships with existing key accounts and sourcing new business.

Develop "series" event-only revenues through self-generated appointments using CRM, self-sourcing, and business networking.

Maintain a high standard of customer relations, service, and goodwill with all customers.

Grow unique events customer count through effective territory and competitor management.

Plan, create, and deliver key direct sales presentations to build and maintain relationships and increase digital revenue from identified key accounts.

Collaborate with the centre core sales team to uncover opportunities for wider marketing spend.

Identify prospective Digital Marketing Services spend, focusing on Web Build, Facebook Smart Ads & Lead Ads revenue.

Acquire in-depth knowledge of the Company and its solutions, including all digital marketing solutions.

Attend relevant training workshops and consistently self-learn via The Hub.

Achieve targets and key objectives in line with expectations.

Ensure every sales opportunity is maximized and maintain motivation and focus under pressure.

Support Sales Managers and Directors with events revenue opportunities aligned with the centre's strategy.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in events or sponsorship.

Must have own vehicle and driving licence.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Knowledge of CRM systems and digital marketing solutions.

Results-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed targets.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Events Management, Business, or a related field.
