The 4
- Park Plaza Hotel Cardiff is an independent franchised business that offers 129 stylish guestrooms, excellent function space comprising 11 suites, accommodating up to 250 guests, the award-winning Laguna Kitchen and Bar, luxury Laguna Health & Spa and our unique Kuku event venue.
Working as part of a team you will be responsible for the coordination of meetings and events within the hotel, including corporate meetings, private dining or private functions such as weddings and Christmas parties.
You will handle initial enquiries, hold meetings and show rounds with clients provide quotes and attend to all administrative aspects including taking payments, confirmation letters, inputting details into a computer system and producing contracts for clients and our operational team.

- Flexible in your approach to work
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Target driven and ability to meet deadlines
**Duties**:
- Liaising with clients and confirming meeting needs
- Preparing contracts and securing payments
- Conducting show arounds and promoting the business
- Being the point of contact for clients up until the day of the event and handing over to the operational team
- Preparing weekly function sheets for the business

Hours of Work:
40hrs a week
Previous experience in a similar position and the ability to work to deadlines and towards targets is preferred.
**Salary**: £21,840.00 per year
