Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a TM Co-Ordinator to work on our Water Network Alliance contract in Wales.
As the TM Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination of Traffic Management in line with contract processes and Streetworks Legislation. TM will be managed via our Streetworks System Confirm, Excel Reports and Jeopardy management tools to achieve compliance. You will liaise with key stakeholders internal and external while driving a high standard of works to manage key relationships with our local highway authorities.
**As the Traffic Management (TM) Coordinator your duties and responsibilities will be.**
- Liaise with the planning and operation team to manage requests for Traffic Management
- Liaise with key stakeholders to request Traffic Management/TM Applications
- Raise Streetworks Notices in line with Streetworks Legislation and lead times for each Highway Authority
- Manage Jeopardy Management Reports to ensure Compliance is maintained.
**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Effective time management
- A good understanding of operational & planning activities
- Financial Awareness to support with “Cost of Failure” reduction.
- Confident, self-motivated, and capable of operating independently without regular oversight.
- Takes responsibility and follows existing policies/procedures.
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to act calmly and rationally in a stressful environment.
- Flexibility to support the business needs.
- An enthusiastic team player
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of NRSWA 1991 & TMA 2004 and associated Codes of Practice (Preferred but training in house can be provided)
- Knowledge of Permit Schemes and their operation (Preferred but training in house can be provided)
