Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Traffic Management Coordinator to work on our Water Network Alliance contract in Wales.

**About the role**

As the Traffic Management Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination of Traffic Management in line with contract processes and Streetworks Legislation. Traffic Management will be managed via our Streetworks System Confirm, Excel Reports and Jeopardy management tools to achieve compliance. You will liaise with key stakeholders internal and external while driving a high standard of works to manage key relationships with our local highway authorities.

As the Traffic Management (TM) Coordinator you will need to liaise with the planning and operation team to manage requests for Traffic Management. You will need to communicate with key stakeholders to request Traffic Management/TM Applications. Raise Streetworks Notices in line with Streetworks Legislation and lead times for each Highway Authority. Manage Jeopardy Management Reports to ensure Compliance is maintained.

**The Key Requirements**

Do you have any knowledge of NRSWA 1991 & TMA 2004 and associated Codes of Practice? This is desirable but not essential.

Have you gained any knowledge of Permit Schemes and their operation? This is desirable but not essential.

Do you have effective time management skills?

Have you gained a good understanding of operational & planning activities?

Financial Awareness to support with “Cost of Failure” reduction.

Are you confident, self-motivated, and capable of operating independently without regular oversight?

Can you take responsibility and follows existing policies/procedures?

Do you have the ability to act calmly and rationally in a stressful environment?

Can you be flexible to support the business needs?
