Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a **PDM Lead - Vehicle** to join our team. This is a hybrid role split between our site in Reading (1 day per week), and remote working. You will join a team that authors and protects the data that the various parts of the business use to communicate.

The team sits in the middle of the business delivering to every team, which makes it a fantastic place to see how all teams and people operate. You will get to meet and work with lots of people and resolve some very complex requirements.

**We would like you to**:

- Delivering process improvements, documentation and training (to all users including BOM team)
- Regular alignment with PLM management team by requesting work and defining timescales
- You will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring that where temporary workarounds are all finally resolved sufficiently
- Setting up all new projects within the vehicle line ready for handover to BOM lead, including creation of PBS, BOM root node, packaging spaces
- Liaising with PMO on Volta Product Development plan interfaces with PLM processes

**We would like you to** have**:

- An eye for detail, it's important to be diligent with recording what has been done and why
- The ability to manage large data sets, particularly in Excel - pivots, complex formulas etc
- Able to describe complex concepts or processes simply to a diverse audience
- Experience in a product development environment, automotive or PDM is essential
- Experience reporting and using VBA/PowerApps/Alteryx or Jira to create reporting views from data sets
- Good experience of using Jira and JQL, Confluence
