**About the role**:
Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) has 5 registered care services in York, Scarborough, Hartlepool,
and Leeds with all services now being rated ’good’ by the CQC (Care Quality Commission)
. JRHT are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Care to lead our services through the next phase of its development.

You’ll play a leading role in developing and delivering JRHT Care Operations and strategy and look to shape our longer-term plans. You’ll help guide us in evaluating and developing high quality models of care delivery and initiative and maintain partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, in particular the Care Quality Commission and Local Care and Health Commissioners.

To have experience of working at senior level. You’ll be able to inspire and lead large and dispersed staff teams to meet challenging performance targets, as well as deliver efficient services and a culture of continuous improvement. You will have experience of leading and managing organisational change whilst embedding strong governance and improving the quality-of-service delivery in innovative and creative ways.

You will have a recognised and appropriate qualification related to care delivery and management (e.g. Nursing or other clinical qualification or Qualified Social Worker) with experience of leading and managing adult social care and/or health services.

Be able to work in partnership with senior internal and external stakeholders and retain a strategic overview and understanding of national developments in care.
