Dragon School have an exciting opportunity for an **Events Coordinator **to join the team.

Location: Oxford

**Salary**: circa £16,960 (FTE £26,500) dependent on experience

**Job Type**: This is a part time role - 30 hours per week (0.64 FTE), term time only plus two additional weeks to be worked during the summer holidays.

**Events Coordinator **- Key Responsibilities:
The post holder will be responsible for supporting with school-wide events, to include:

- Facilitating all prospective and parent facing events as directed by marketing, admissions and appropriate members of SLT. e.g., open mornings, year-group coffee mornings and parent brunches
- Facilitating events which require ticketing, refreshments and front of house management in conjunction with the Assistant Head Co-Curricular. e.g., Carol Service, drama productions, concerts etc.
- The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements relating to the School’s events activities, including risk assessments, are met
- They will also be expected to work collaboratively with the wider School community
- Working with the SLT, Head of Estates, Director of Sports and all other appropriate colleagues to ensure appropriate logistic support for School events
- Working with the School’s marketing department to ensure that the School’s events are in line with brand guidelines and are appropriately advertised
- Working with the School’s caterers to ensure that the provision of all catering for events purposes is appropriately costed and presented

**Events Coordinator **- You:

- Stakeholder management skills with the ability to persuade and influence a wide range of groups
- Demonstration of event management from brief to implementation
- The ability to plan, organise and action, but also to assist event holders with creative ideas to bring the event to life
- Successful track record of delivering to financial budgets and agreed operational KPIs
