We are seeking an exceptional Head of Human Resources to join our dynamic team on a fixed-term contract basis for 6 months in the Midlands, UK. As the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a crucial significant change project, working directly with one of their Big 4 customers in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. You will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and promoting a high-performance culture within the organisation. This is an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in managing HR operations, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and organisational development. The role will include travel to other regional distribution centres across the UK predominantly in the Midlands and South East in order to aid the significant change project supporting 2,000 staff members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achievement of business objectives.
- Lead and drive organisational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the process.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, attracting top talent and building a high-performing team.
- Implement performance management programs to enhance employee productivity, engagement, and development.
- Oversee employee relations, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- 5 Years experience in a HR Role
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Driving license - to other regional distribution centres across the UK- car allowance and mileage paid for.
- Proven experience working in a leadership capacity within the FMCG industry supporting operations functions
- Demonstrated success in managing HR operations, including talent acquisition, performance management, and organisational development.
- Significant Experience with trade union management.
- Experience leading significant change projects, with a track record of driving successful outcomes.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices and experience of experience of large-scale TUPE
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Strategic mindset and the ability to translate business goals into HR strategies.
- Results-driven with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
