Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Chief Human Resources Officer will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the NHS HR strategy. The individual will serve as a role model for organizational values and assist the Chief Human Resources Officer in their duties related to leadership and personnel management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive workforce services and leading initiatives that enhance employee engagement and performance.
  • Overseeing the HR Plan, annual business objectives, and compliance with relevant standards and governance.
  • Managing a broad portfolio that encompasses strategy, policy development, and significant change initiatives.
  • Ensuring that the HR structure and capabilities align with organizational needs while upholding the highest professional standards.
