**Role Purpose.** We have an exciting opportunity for a **Technical Administrator** to join our team based at Thorpe Park, Leeds on a permanent contract. As a Technical Administrator, you will assist in the design of NGN’s mains replacement, ensuring the programme achieves all required outputs for RIIO-GD2 and beyond. You will work in a team of technical design and planning staff delivering a range of network design activities to ensure the replacement programme is fit for purpose and compliant with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

**Key accountabilities and responsibilities**
- Undertake network analysis for project designs taking into account overall security of supply, customer expectations and commercial considerations
- Liaise with operational teams following onsite investigations confirming asset size, material and locations
- Ensure all SAP systems are fully and accurately populated with project details
- Undertake network analysis for project resubmission when additional information is found on site and update construction drawing with the amendments
- Work with other departments to access governor settings, demand information and weather data

**Knowledge, Experience & Technical Know How**
No specific technical knowledge is necessary, as full training will be provided to ensure a robust understanding of the appropriate systems (Synergi Gas, SAP, ArcMap etc. plesae see below) and techniques used to carry out technical administration activities.
- Knowledge & understanding of the operation of the gas distribution network
- Knowledge of NGN's replacement requirements for RIIO-GD2
- Awareness of network modelling and use of analytical tools, ideally within the gas /utilities sector (Synergi Gas, ArcMap, GIS)
- Management of internal customer and stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders in the development of project designs
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong team player with ability to work on own initiative

**What we Offer**
- A starting salary of £24,259 per annum
