Sales Administrator

My client is one of the Northern Ireland’s leading suppliers of office furniture, working from a large showroom based in Belfast they stock and supply everything from a single chair/desk for the home office, whilst also offering full design and space planning services to fit-out large commercial businesses including leading-brand / executive furniture solutions.
Due to continued expansion and recent business investment in a fantastic new retail showroom, they now seek to recruit a full-time permanent **Sales Administrator** to assist the Sales Manager with sales and handle day-to-day administration duties to ensure the smooth running of a successful business.
**Order processing** - Managing and inputting orders from our showroom, website, ebay and amazon to our online accounts system. Work with suppliers to buy stock and process our purchase orders. New products and listings online will also need to be regularly updated and uploaded.
**Scheduling and route planning** - Keeping on top of all open orders from customers. Communicating with customers regarding their potential delivery date etc is also necessary before deliveries can take place. Help with planning of suitable delivery routes for our fitters around these orders based on geography, timescale and stock availability.
**Showroom organisation** - Working with our office staff to ensure the showroom is always presentable, and our key products or new items are always on display.
You must have proven office administration skills including confidence in using Microsoft Office. You will be a natural communicator, be well organised and have a real eye for detail. Experience of sales in a showroom environment preferred but not essential. Ideally you’ll have 3-4 years similar experience within the key areas above.
Starting salary of £25,000 - £27,000 depending on your experience and skills. Office hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, occasional Saturday mornings as part of rota (1:3), Performance Bonus, 28 days holiday, company car, mobile, laptop, pension, Private healthcare, free parking.
