**Salary**: £66,700-£80,000 Dependent of skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Accountability for the assessment and monitoring of ethical risk across the Sector
- Sensitively managing the Air UK Ethics Helpline queries and reporting confidentially upon these at Group and Air Board level
- Act as an ambassador for the Code of Conduct to champion the ethical principles and values within the organisation and support employees to live up to the ethical standards expected of them, building trust and confidence amongst employees in the processes that exist to address ethical concerns
- Managing, training and leading the Ethics Officer network across the business, including refreshing the network where required
- Working with senior stakeholders across the Sector including at Board level to review and refresh the strategy to Business Ethics taken in the applicable Sector

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential
- Successful track record as a trusted business partner
- Excellent Cross Business awareness and ability to adapt approach accordingly to match Business operations
- Experience of running workplace investigations
- Experience of facilitation between parties at all levels including Board level and below
- Strong analytical, complex problem solving and reporting skills, ability to interpret data and draw conclusions and provide narrative

Desirable
- Previous experience in Business Ethics, HR, or Legal would be advantageous

**The Ethics Team**:
Would you like to have board level exposure with a sector wide view across BAE Systems? We currently have a vacancy for a Head of Ethical Business Conduct for the Air Sector based in the UK.

As Head of Ethical Business Conduct - Air, you will develop and lead the Ethical Business Conduct programme across the Air Sector in accordance with the Group’s Business Conduct strategy, through effective management, communication and reporting against the programme objectives and deliverables.

The role will involve engaging with and reporting to senior stakeholders across the sector, including at Board Level, to review and refresh the strategy for Business Ethics across the sector. There is also significant opportunity to help shape the overall Business Conduct strategy and programme delivery through working with stakeholders at Group Level.

You will be responsible for managing, training, and leading the Ethics Officer network across the business, including refreshing the network where required.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career within BAE Systems due to exposure gained across multiple business areas.
