**Salary**: £90,000 + Depending on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- You will work closely with the PM Function to implement a number of Improvement Projects within Operations in relation to Project Planning/Scheduling and Project Controls
- Establish Operations capacity and how to meet demand, integrating and assuring the master schedules created in the respective Service Delivery Units (SDU).
- Standardise how work flows into Operations and then into the SDUs utilising common processes, tools and systems, ensuring statements of work, programmes / milestones, estimates and DAREOs are in place and updated (including change).
- Develop and implement a dependency management process across SDUs
- You will measure, monitor and review emerging trends through KPI’s and PI’s, identifying early risks, providing recommendations and improvement action
- Manage the accurate and timely evaluation of Sales and Ops data within Operations, ensuring relevant information is updated and supported by key stakeholders
- Facilitate the resolution of resource / material / capacity constraints and clashes in priorities across groups where there is a conflict in programme deliverables
- Ensure standardised processes are maintained and adhered to across all SDUs
- Be responsible for accurately representing Schedule & Earned Value Management, Risk & Opportunity Management, Baseline & Change Management and Cost Management in an integrated view of Operations performance.
- You will measure performance, Initiating corrective action as required utilising route cause data driven analysis of deviation in plan and performance. The role provides information to the Integrated Operations Director, helping to enable the predictable delivery to time, cost and quality.
- Develop and actively manage strong relationships with key internal and external senior stakeholders

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Knowledge and understanding of business operations methodologies, processes, toolsets and governance.
- Excellent understanding of what it takes to ensure an effective business operations culture
- Comprehensive experience of building relationships and negotiating outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Significant experience in coaching and supporting leaders with effective business operations in complex environments.
- Extensive business change and continuous improvement experience demonstrated in professional or executive leadership roles within a business or function.
- Comprehensive understanding of the wider project management environment including developments and best practices in the field and how the role supports other functions.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of project management governance and business operations and audit.
- Comprehensive knowledge of how business operations contributes to achieving the goals of the projects, programmes, portfolio and business.

**The Team**:
This role sits within the new team being structured under the Director of Integrated Operations Managements within the COO. This organisation bridges between the Line of Business and the Operations organisation ensuring the two work together to deliver the outcomes for the business and our customers. The team collectively will manage the sales & operations process across the sector, ensure the Operations plan is aligned and balance, manage new business & change coming into operations as well as ensuring strategic alignment with the LOBs.
