Role Overview:

As a Senior TM1 Planning Analytics Specialist, you will:

  • Architect, develop, and sustain planning analytics frameworks, including models, cubes, dimensions, rules, and reports within a dynamic development environment.
  • Craft solutions for seamless integration between IBM Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics with Watson (PAW) dashboards, and IBM Planning Analytics reports (PASS).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and fellow developers to comprehend systems and work together on the deployment of effective Planning Analytics solutions.
  • Translate business needs and guidelines into technical design specifications.
  • Construct and implement Planning Analytics solutions adhering to established coding standards, configuration, and change management protocols.
  • Ensure comprehensive test plans, unit tests, and peer reviews are executed for all development tasks.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Planning Analytics Developer.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Desirable:

  • Certification as a Planning Analytics Developer or equivalent experience, preferably in a financial context.
  • Experience in a finance-related environment is advantageous; CIMA / ACCA or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

About the Planning Analytics Development Team:

This role is part of a dedicated team of Planning Analytics Developers who support finance and resource planning functions. As a Senior TM1 Planning Analytics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering timely and precise analytics that aid senior stakeholders' decision-making across our Air sector operations. You will possess in-depth technical knowledge of TM1 Planning Analytics architecture, including PAX/PAfE, PAW, and PASS, and have the ability to interpret technical instructions and communicate them effectively to others. You will be confident in working independently within the team, taking responsibility for the quality and timely completion of your work.
