Every year, we support over 300 individuals in our housing provision, enabling them to grow their confidence and move into education, training, employment and into independent living. Alongside this we provide a whole host of youth and community services including our own community gardens. We also provide training and education to 150 young people each year who find mainstream education more difficult, as well as high-quality childcare within our community.

Our team works hard to provide as much care and support for those who need it most, every day we make a difference.

**Position**:
**Role Title: Thriving Futures Employability Co-ordinator**

**Salary: £26127 pa**

**Hours: 35 per week**

**Location**:This post will be based at 1 of 4 employability hubs within the city**

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the YMCA; a charity at the heart of the community in Derbyshire. This new role is part of the UKSPF Thriving Futures Project offering people within Derby the support they require to develop their life and employability skills to access local jobs.

This will involve working as part of a team to engage and provide support to a case load of project participants providing 1 to 1 and group-based activities and access to support services, events, and training to enable them to progress on their personal journey towards work.

**This is a temporary contract position of 35 hours per week.**

**Post end Date: April 2024 (with a possible extension to 2025)
