**PURPOSE OF JOB**:
HMM are a global transportation and liner shipping company. The majority and main part of position holder responsibilities or daily activities will be in assisting in the managing and processing a wide range of tenders received from our European Sales team to KAM (Key Account Management Department in HMM EHQ) and supporting global tender requirements within Key Account Management team.

- Extensive knowledge on customer service and management, tendering, pricing, documentation while exchanging information with multiple parties of the business

**MAIN JOB RESPONSBILITIES**:
1. Co-ordinating closely with the Pricing Teams in the European Headquarters, Headquarters in Seoul and Regional Headquarters offices globally.

2. Seeking detailed offers from Trade Departments and the Logistics Departments for inland requirements against set timelines.

3. Ensuring tender documents are completed and submitted to the customer of the appropriate HMM office. Covering all trade routes relevant to the tender via the departments in Headquarters.

4. Liaising with customers regarding their tender requirements. Building relationship with the customers under the control of Key Account Management as well as giving support towards strategic objectives.

5. Maintaining the database of tenders received, pending and submitted.

6. Creating a Database for the development of existing and potential Tenders under the control of the Headquarters of HMM in Europe.

7. Checking on customer performance via our in-house system ‘Compass’ on a regular basis and advising Colleagues and management in Seoul Headquarters and other locations of performance result against expectations and of forecasts.

8. Ensuring that the business needs to meet requirements aligned to both maintaining and securing more BCO Tender business and supporting the needs of Tender Customers.

9. Attending tender meetings with customers as required

**Experience and Knowledge as KAM Assistant**
- Excellent administrative, organisational, planning and coordination skills - able to prioritise, respond and adapt proactively to changing deadlines and demand
- Knowledge or experience working in the Shipping Industry, preferably within a Container Shipping company will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand IT systems quickly, including EDI and internal systems for Shipping
- Sound understanding of the needs of the customer within Shipping industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £1.00-£999,999.00 per year
