Logistics and Transport Administrator

- Previous Transport and Logistics experience needed
**About Our Client**:
Our client is a leading manufacturing business who due to extreme growth is hiring for an additional Logistics and Transport Administrator to join their team in Brighouse.
- Planning weekly deliveries, reviewing driver routes, ensuring maximum volumes are delivered each week
- Liaising with Sales to ensure all targets and deliveries are met.
- Ensuring that all in-house vehicles are compliant with all legal regulatory and contractual requirements, including arranging servicing and repairs of vehicles, monitoring vehicle gross weights and escalating any issues to the Commercial Director. Ensuring we have the correct paperwork.
- Supporting customers with changes in requirements and deliveries in line with relevant guidance and risk assessment, resolving any queries that may arise.
- Monitoring daily activities of drivers, ensuring they are compliant to the working time directive and escalating any issues to the Commercial Director
- Contacting the agency to arrange additional drivers when required, ensure we have the correct paperwork (disclaimers and driving licence checks)
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Good geographical knowledge
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
- Knowledge of drivers hours, tachograph and WTD legislation
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Have the ability to interpret data accordingly and to prioritise tasks in line with business needs.
- Strong administrative and customer service skills
- Well organised with the ability to multi-task
- Good collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Competent decision making
