**Purpose of role**:
The aim of the Transport Coordinator will be to assist with all functions in the planning and logistics of the transport movements carried out, ensuring compliance while maximising customer satisfaction and financial performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining the transport schedule, maximising on double runs, and utilising vehicles and personnel available
- Preparing movement orders
- Coordinating drivers including driver hours
- Maintaining and updating FTA Vision
- Communicating with customers - pre delivery/collection, access instructions, site requirements including PPE
- Updating company systems

**The successful Transport Coordinator will hold/Have**:

- Experience working in a transport environment including the movement of vehicles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Geographical knowledge of the UK
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident with IT packages including Sharepoint
- Good communication skills and a team player
